Qualification on the Canadian team for the ITU World Championships 2020
Laurentians region, Québec
Passionate about sports since her childhood, Pamela Poirier-Ouellet has been involved in several summer and winter sports: swimming, figure skating, hockey, snowboarding, bodybuilding, always with performance in mind and in a competitive spirit.
In High School, despite a wide range of optional courses, her choice remained the same year after year: physical education. When the time came to make a career choice, Pamela turned to a completely different field, setting aside all her sporting passions for lack of time and budget. Having completed her studies in 2009, she returned to her first love: sports!
In 2014, she traded in her motocross for a road bike and a mountain bike, a new passion evolved. The following season, she entered her first triathlon and since then has made it a sporting journey. Since then, there has been a goal, a dream, the one that we keep for ourselves, the one that has fueled her in training season after season.
The 2019 season was successful in a qualifying event. In August 2019, Pamela qualified on the Canadian team for the ITU World Championships which were scheduled for August 2020 in Edmonton.
For Pamela sport is the best ally for health and well-being.
